Our organization is responsible to supply drinking water for the city of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, and clean used water before returning it to the river, to be used by populations downstream. Our organization represents each letter in the STEAM acronym: S -Scientists such as biologists and environmental scientists help us be aware and reduce environmental impact and protect endangered species; T - Technology used in measuring, moving, and cleaning water; E -Engineers -civil, mechanical, environmental, all work in our organization; A -Art and artists work in communicating and educating our community; and M - Math is used in each of these areas and even more!
